Interested in futuristic technology? Come try to peel a grape or stitch up a football using our new da Vinci Xi robotic-assisted surgical system!
Kearney Regional Medical Center will have the da Vinci Robotic Surgical System set up for display and demonstration to the public in the Platte Valley Medical Group atrium from 1:15 to 4:00 p.m.
The Xi system replaces the current Si system, providing surgeons with expanded anatomical access, wider 3D visualization, and more advanced instruments for robotic-assisted minimally-invasive surgery.
The da Vinci Xi is used by multiple physicians in the areas of general and bariatric surgery, gynecological surgery, urology, and cardiothoracic surgeries.
