7/9/19 2:00 p.m. Suggested Routes to Kearney Regional Medical Center

Highway 30 is closed westbound and open eastbound.
I 80 is open but the northbound exit at Exit 272 is closed, as are most roads south of 11th Street in Kearney.

Travelers and ambulances en-route to Kearney Regional Medical Center should utilize Exit 275 (Kearney East Entrance by the Archway) and Highway 10 (going north).

If streets in Central Kearney are flooded, we suggest going around by taking 39th Street West, 30th Avenue South, and 11th Street East to our facility.

7/9/19 1:00 p.m. Kearney Regional Medical Center and Platte Valley Medical Group are open and fully operational at this time. We are NOT evacuating or transferring any patients. We are prepared for sandbagging if needed but have not taken on any water at this time.

7/9/19 11:50 a.m. Kearney Regional Medical Center is open, fully operational and not evacuating at this time. We are monitoring the flooding closely. We are preparing for sandbagging if needed, but we have not taken on any water inside the hospital facility. Parking is limited and road closures are occurring.
