Young Kim, MD, PhD
Dr. Young Kim is a Stanford-trained cardiologist who will serve as the Medical Director of Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
Dr. Kim obtained his PhD in atrial fibrillation from Oxford University and his MD from the University of Toronto. Prior to being recruited to Stanford, he completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Vancouver General Hospital. After general fellowship he moved to L.A. to specialize in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at the University of Southern California.
He has received numerous national and international grants and awards for his research in atrial fibrillation, and is excited to establish Kearney Regional Medical Center as an Atrial Fibrillation Center of Excellence for our region.
Dr. Kim is dedicated to upholding the highest possible standards of providing the most holistic, comprehensive and innovative complex EP care.
